Santa Clara, CAPosted Feb 2026 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

The interview itself had an odd tone from the start.

As I worked through the coding task, it didn’t feel like the interviewer was trying to explore my thinking. By the end, I felt like the goal had narrowed to execution only.

When I was wrapping up, the interviewer basically pushed me to stop explaining and just write the code. That left me feeling like my communication mattered less than just producing the solution. I didn’t get an offer, and overall it left me with the impression that the interaction wasn’t interested in a full walkthrough—only the final implementation.
