Uber Software Engineer interview experience

I expected DSA questions at the hard level, and that expectation was accurate.

One detail that stood out was that the interviewers seemed willing to nudge with hints when I was very close to getting to a correct solution. That hinting made it feel less like a pure test of correctness and more like an evaluation of how I approached the problem as it unfolded.

Even with that, I didn’t end up getting an offer. The reflection I had afterward was that hard-level DSA is unforgiving, and the hinting didn’t compensate enough when the full solution still didn’t come together.
