San Francisco, CAPosted Jan 2022 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed with Twitch through a DEI-related recruiter touchpoint and then a 4-round virtual interview that felt easy, though my nerves hurt under the pressure.

Recruiter phone screen (DEI advocate) — She walked me through the work, team, and process.
Virtual 4-round interview — The rounds included very simple programming questions, but it was my first major interview and I felt I let pressure build.

Outcome: I received a rejection a few hours later; the takeaway was that tone and clarity were good, but confidence matters even for “simple” prompts.
