I interviewed for Software Engineer at Twitch with a multi-stage assessment-to-interview pipeline that ultimately ended before or during later rounds.

Phone call + online assessment — I had an initial phone call and then an online assessment; I didn’t progress past the assessment.
Assessment → phone interview → take-home → onsite (socially positive) — In another version of the process, I completed a technical assessment, then a phone interview and take-home project, and later a virtual onsite with people across the company who were friendly and seemed to enjoy their work. Outcome: No offer; the takeaway is that later stages could be warm and collaborative even when the final decision didn’t go my way.
