I interviewed for Twitch Software Engineer with an initial friendly recruiter call, but the engineering manager interview felt unprepared and rough.

Recruiter phone screening — the recruiter was very nice, easy to connect with, and moved me quickly to the next step.
Engineering manager interview — I found the interviewer rude and not prepared; they seemed to ask questions on the fly and didn’t have a clear grasp of the project. Outcome: I didn’t move forward, and the takeaway was that interview quality can vary and it can affect how smoothly the technical conversation goes.
