Twilio Software Engineer interview experience

I wanted to understand the work culture and how feedback worked in that particular team.

That made the whole conversation feel slightly different from a purely coding-focused interview, because I was paying attention to how people collaborate, how expectations are communicated, and how issues get surfaced and discussed. By the end of the process, I had a more grounded sense of what day-to-day might feel like on the messaging side, and that clarity was valuable even if the role itself carried the pressure of being a staff-level position.
