I experienced Twilio’s process as structured and fairly well-run overall, even though it still took real time and focus.

I had multiple video interviews that lasted about an hour each, and the interviewers came across as knowledgeable and clear about what they were assessing. The role expectations were laid out so I wasn’t guessing what they wanted from me.

There was also a sense of fairness in the way the rounds were organized: I started with a recruiter interview that mostly introduced the company and the role, then I moved into conversations that looked at my background and fit. After that, I went through a panel interview where they discussed the range of skills they wanted for the position.
