Turo Software Engineer interview experience

No offer

Negative

United StatesPosted Sep 2019 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I started with outreach from a recruiter and got a call scheduled.

When the call time came, the recruiter simply didn’t show up, so I waited for the connection that never happened.

After that miss, she tried to get things back on track over email by proposing new times. I provided availability, but then the communication fell off completely—no further replies, no reschedule, and essentially radio silence. It was hard not to feel like I’d been deprioritized without any closure.

I never made it into the actual interview stages because the recruiter disappeared after the first no-show, and the whole experience left me with a very sour first impression.
