San Francisco, CAPosted Mar 2017 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I was contacted by HR and given a take-home case study problem.

The requirements were vague and the questions were pretty open-ended, and honestly the dataset felt like there wasn’t much to play with, which made it hard to know how to fully demonstrate value.

After I sent back the results, I received a rejection the very next morning with no explanation. The timing felt especially frustrating because it turned a time-consuming assignment into a quick verdict. I would’ve preferred a rejection on the phone rather than spending that effort for no feedback.
