My interview journey started similarly with a coding-style assessment, but the difficulty level hit me immediately.

The problems were hard enough that I struggled to even understand what the evaluation was looking for at first, and that confusion ate most of my time.

They had only allocated 45 minutes, but the way the rating and questions were framed made everything feel like it took longer than it should have. I was moving through steps while trying to decode the intent, and by the time I had clarity, the clock was already working against me.

I didn’t make it through, and the experience left me feeling like the time limit didn’t match how challenging the assessment was to interpret.
