TSMC Software Engineer interview experience

Depending on the interviewer, I sometimes had a translator involved, especially when people from Taiwan were on the call, while other sessions were with domestic/US team members.

In the interview itself, it was largely Q&A based on my resume and school major. The questions weren’t framed as difficult on their own; instead, the emphasis was on whether I met the ability requirements for the role. I was able to ask my supervisor about what the work would actually look like and what kind of project I’d be supporting, and that made the conversation feel more grounded in real day-to-day
