TSMC Software Engineer interview experience

The interviewer was friendly and we spent time talking about my research experience. The way the conversation flowed made it feel more like a discussion than a very formal, high-stakes interview.

Because it didn’t feel overly serious, I came away thinking that was part of why I liked the process so much. The questions stayed grounded in my background.

I still didn’t receive an offer, but the experience left me with a positive feeling—mainly because it was conversational and not hostile.
