TSMC Software Engineer interview experience

ArizonaPosted Oct 2021 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I ended up receiving an offer for a senior quality engineering role in TSMC’s Arizona site.

I had roughly five years of semiconductor engineering experience, and the offer details included a base salary of $120k with a bonus around 20% per year. There weren’t stock options or a joining bonus mentioned.

Relocation was part of the package: I was set to spend a few months in Taiwan and then move to Arizona, with relocation covered. Overall, the offer came through after the process, and the biggest takeaway for me was how concrete the terms were compared to the general expectations I’d had going in.
