TSMC Software Engineer interview experience

Phoenix, AZPosted Sep 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I had an interview where they already had my resume in their system and reached out directly.

The technical interview was with two engineers from the team, and it was all technical with no behavioral questions.

The tone was cold and interrogative—question after question with little breathing room. It matched what I expected from that kind of style, but the difficulty and coverage didn’t align well with my background, and I couldn’t answer about half of the questions.

I didn’t get an offer. I left feeling like the process was designed for very specific technical mastery, and my gaps were exposed quickly rather than gradually.
