TSMC Software Engineer interview experience

The first one centered heavily on my background and my desire to work at TSMC. There weren’t really technical questions thrown at me—aside from checking whether I was familiar with how fabs work at a unit-operation level.

The whole thing felt easy-going and exploratory, like they were trying to understand what I knew about the manufacturing environment and whether I was genuinely interested. I didn’t feel pressured to prove myself with difficult technical depth in that stage.
