TSMC Software Engineer interview experience

The first round was technical in spirit—questions tied my resume to the field and included a few brain teaser style prompts. The second half shifted to behavioral, focusing on how I work day-to-day and how I’ve handled different types of tasks.

Even though it was framed as assessments, it didn’t feel like a single intimidating interrogation. It felt more like they were separating my problem-solving mindset from my day-to-day working style.
