The recruiter process and early steps moved quickly, and they were pretty clear about the type of person they wanted.

During the interviews, I could tell they had a specific work culture and were looking for someone who would match that exact mold.

What surprised me was how much the focus was on cultural alignment rather than getting into a deeper technical conversation. I could follow the questions easily, but ultimately it just wasn’t a good fit.

I didn’t receive an offer. Even so, the communication felt clear, and the experience made it obvious that they were optimizing for fit more than pure skill.
