TSMC Software Engineer interview experience

The process was fairly stressful, but what threw me off was that it leaned more behavioral than technical. I kept expecting the technical portion to arrive after the first few steps, and it never really did the way I thought it would.

By the end, I actually declined an offer that came with a high salary. The deciding factor was culture concerns I’d read about from places like Glassdoor and other online sources.

So even though the interview itself was rigorous enough to take up serious time, I ultimately let the outside perception of day-to-day environment outweigh the offer.
