I went through two interviews, one in German and another with the department lead in English.

The interviews felt like they were primarily trying to understand motivation and whether I was willing to take on a real challenge.

The questions were typical in the sense that they focused more on my drive and willingness to learn than on very specific technical areas. I left thinking it was more of a fit and mindset screen than a deep technical evaluation. I didn’t receive an offer, but the process was structured and clearly aimed at testing motivation rather than hard skills.
