Truist Investment Banking Analyst interview experience

The next step was a super day with two separate 30-minute interviews, and each one was with an MD.

The structure was very clear and tiered—phone screen first, then senior leadership for the longer conversations. I remember thinking the MD interviews would feel intimidating, but the sessions themselves were framed like standard professional discussions rather than a test that tried to trick me.

I didn’t receive an offer. Even with that, the process felt efficient and organized: two 30-minute MD meetings were the main hurdle, and once the format was understood it was easier to stay focused.
