Trend Micro Inc. Software Engineer interview experience

The format was split into three parts: first I introduced myself, then they asked situational questions, and then we moved into closing questions.

Because the session was structured that way, I always knew what phase I was in. The questions weren’t just hypothetical—they were meant to show how I’d think and react, and then the closing phase wrapped things up in a way that didn’t abruptly end the conversation.

I didn’t get an offer, but the experience felt smooth, and the tone made it easier to explain my reasoning without feeling rushed.
