Trend Micro Inc. Software Engineer interview experience

It included a personality analysis alongside technical questions written on paper, where I had to write C++ programs. They also asked about SDLC and the QA process.

On top of that, there was face-to-face coding on a whiteboard that happened across several rounds. The combination of written C++ work, process knowledge, and live whiteboard coding made it hard to find any single “comfort zone” to rely on.

I didn’t get an offer. What stayed with me most was how broad the evaluation was—personality, methodology, and hands-on coding all at once—so it never felt like a simple technical screening.
