Trend Micro Inc. Software Engineer interview experience

If I passed, then I went into an HR interview and eventually a job offer.

What surprised me was that it didn’t feel like a pure coding challenge. The exam included snippets of code, and I had to answer questions about what the code would lead to by selecting the correct choices. After that, the technical interview still fit into the same theme—understanding the behavior behind the snippets rather than doing full algorithm-style problem solving.
