Trend Micro Inc. Software Engineer interview experience

After that, I had an on-site round focused on project experience and hard skills, and then a separate on-site interview round for soft skills.

Even though it wasn’t a single continuous interview, the structure was clear: they wanted to see both technical credibility through project and skills, and then how I showed up personally.

I didn’t get an offer. The main reflection I have is that the separation between hard-skill and soft-skill rounds made the evaluation feel more like a full fit assessment rather than purely technical screening.
