Trend Micro Inc. Security Engineer interview experience

The whole setup felt like it was trying to gauge both my background and how I’d fit with the team’s day-to-day needs.

Across the interview loop, the thing they leaned on most was cybersecurity familiarity—having relevant experience mattered, and it seemed like they preferred a stronger base in cyber security concepts. I also remember it being helpful that I had related personal projects and certifications, because the discussion naturally connected to that. Overall, the difficulty landed at an average level for me, and I didn’t receive an offer.
