Trend Micro Inc. Software Engineer interview experience

I was told it mattered to know the basics, and I noticed the expectation to be careful with what I said.

Even though I answered the questions, the difficulty level made it feel like there wasn’t much room for vague explanations. The technical part demanded precision, and the overall tone made it clear they were looking for strong fundamentals.

I didn’t receive an offer. My honest reflection was that the interview wasn’t about guessing your way through—it was about demonstrating that the core knowledge was solid and that I could stay careful under pressure.
