Trend Micro Inc. Software Engineer interview experience

After that, I was shortlisted for a technical round that ended up being very challenging. The technical interview asked about my previous work experience and dug into Java topics like multithreading and data structures.

The difficulty felt high, and I struggled to clear the second round. I didn’t pass, so the process ended there rather than continuing through multiple stages.

Even though it was a tough experience, it was pretty clear where the gap was: the technical questions went beyond surface-level familiarity and demanded stronger command of the core Java concepts they chose to test.
