My interview felt unusually centered on logic tied to a very specific kind of question.

It was mostly resume-based to confirm my background, but then the core challenge was a function-style reasoning prompt: if the input was 2, the expected output was 3, and vice versa. The catch was that I wasn’t supposed to use arithmetic or conditionals.

The difficulty felt difficult because the constraint forced me to think creatively rather than rely on standard math operations. I didn’t receive an offer, and the way the question was framed made it easy to get stuck if you didn’t reinterpret the problem quickly.
