I started with an online test on AMCAT that felt very quant-and-reasoning oriented—topics like time, distance, and speed, profit and loss, averages/percentages, and general reasoning.

I also saw two separate coding questions on the test: one about checking whether one tree is a subtree of another, and another on matrix multiplication. I solved both coding parts and felt pretty confident when I finished.

After that, I waited while they shortlisted people—only 15 were selected, and the result took about 15 to 20 days to come out. Once I got shortlisted, that meant I had cleared enough of the test filters to move forward. In terms of what surprised me, it was how much the selection depended on the test outcome even though later stages would look more like interviews.
