My first hurdle was that the hiring process didn’t feel reliable.

I made it through an initial screening and then the follow-through fell apart—after I followed up multiple times, I got ghosted with no final answer. One recruiter delay lingered so long that I eventually had to come back and re-engage, and when I did, the scheduling and communication issues repeated.

In one stretch, I waited about twenty minutes and then received a message saying they couldn’t keep waiting, even though I was connected for the call. The overall vibe felt unprofessional and disrespectful of my time, and later I heard explanations that didn’t match what I’d been told earlier.
