Trane Technologies Account Executive interview experience

I could resend or retry my responses, and most of what I saw were behavioral prompts. It felt like a straightforward way to screen for basic fit before anyone got on a call.

A short time later I moved into live conversations: first a phone or Teams call, then a more formal panel interview. During those rounds, the questions leaned heavily on my prior experience—what I’d done, how I handled specific situations, and what the outcomes were. The STAR structure came up repeatedly, and the panel format meant multiple interviewers asked their own question and then watched how I answered.
