My interview process started with a phone screen and then shifted to an on-site session where the job was explained in a pretty hands-on way.

I went in for a face-to-face meeting that included job shadowing, and the whole day felt very transparent about what the first months would look like.

The shadow portion tied directly into expectations—there was discussion of required hours for the initial six months, and the process felt like they were laying out the reality of the role rather than just selling the position. When I moved into the interview portion, it was detailed, and the next steps were spelled out clearly, including where I could go from there.

Even though the process was smooth for me, it still had an “average” level
