The process moved fast and felt mostly like a conversation where they tried to sell me on the company while also asking why I wanted the role.

I didn’t go very deep into a full technical or role-specific evaluation—what I mainly felt was that it was pushy in a way I associated with sales recruiting.

As soon as it started to feel like it wasn’t aligning with what I wanted, I removed myself from consideration before an offer came through. I ended up stepping back simply because it wasn’t the right move for me.

No offer ever happened, and I left feeling relieved more than disappointed.
