This recruitment started like a typical multi-round freshers flow with four stages: an online test, a technical screening, a technical solutioning step, and then an HR round.

The whole process felt like it was taking enough time to go through the full pipeline, but by the time I reached HR, the decision had already effectively been made.

During the HR round, I learned that I hadn’t cleared the bar—apparently due to communication concerns, and even something like my taste in movies and books being seen as odd. What bothered me was the contrast with how I’d done on the technical parts, because it made the HR feedback feel disconnected from the technical evaluation.

I ended up getting rejected in HR, and honestly it left me feeling like the process should’ve ended
