San Francisco, CAPosted Apr 2016 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

It began with an application and a quick recruiter call where I got the usual overview of the company, the role, and how the process would work.

The next step was a coding challenge hosted on their website, with a deadline of about a week. I submitted after a couple of days since I was already tied up with other interviews.

After I turned it in, I never heard back. The silence made the whole thing feel lazy on their end, like there wasn’t really a follow-through step once I completed the assignment. Even though I did the work they asked for, the lack of communication was the most memorable part of the experience, and it left me with a pretty negative impression.
