After a video screening call with Talent Acquisition, the conversation felt friendly and procedural.

They confirmed I was a real person, walked me through the job duties, and went over my resume details and my salary requirements. They also told me the hiring manager was excited to meet, and that I’d hear back from her soon.

I didn’t, and I ended up reaching back to my HR contact about two weeks later. That call clarified I wasn’t moving forward to the onsite interview. It was disappointing mainly because everything sounded promising upfront, and the silence afterward made the process feel less transparent than the first conversation.
