the LEGO Group Software Engineer interview experience

I started with a recruiter round that felt warm and easy to talk to, and then I engaged with my manager before I met team members.

The most enjoyable part was preparing and presenting my case. I had a lot of freedom in how I structured the content and the process of getting to my solution, and the interviews around it became a real conversation—people asked questions about my background, my view of the team, and how my role would connect to their work.

I didn’t get an offer, but I still felt like I had real engagement throughout and that the interactions weren’t just checking boxes.
