I submitted an academic CV first, and the rest of the process felt like a direct path from paperwork to a conversation.

Then I met with the principal investigator and their collaborators, and I had one-on-one time with a few of them.

The interviews were focused on my background and how it connected to the project and team they were building. After those meetings, they followed up with an offer.

I ended up receiving an offer through this sequence, and it felt like my CV and my specific discussions with the PI and collaborators matched what they were looking for. The overall experience was relatively smooth—once I got into the conversations, everything moved quickly toward a decision.
