My interview didn’t really get off the ground.

I arrived about ten minutes early at the location and was told by the hiring manager to come back another time. I didn’t have a car, so getting there took a long detour—an hour and a half by train and walking—so having to turn around immediately threw off the whole day.

The interview was effectively ended on arrival, and I never continued with the process. It felt like more of a scheduling/availability issue than an actual assessment of my fit, and the effort I put in didn’t translate into any real interview time.
