The American Mathematical Society Research Scientist interview experience

The conversation started by me introducing my research experience and projects, and then it moved into my research interests and what my plan would look like after joining the lab.

It repeated in focus because the professor was clearly grounding the discussion around how my interests aligned with the lab and how I would approach the work going forward. The tone felt straightforward and collaborative, and I left feeling like I’d been able to clearly communicate the direction I wanted to take.
