Texas Instruments Software Engineer interview experience

The first technical discussion was mainly about basic digital logic, plus a sorting algorithm, and it also felt a lot like they wanted to hear how I thought rather than whether I knew every answer. I talked through a project I had worked on and tried to connect it back to engineering fundamentals.

Later, the process got more specific to hardware design. My main technical round ran for about an hour and covered FPGA-related working concepts, cache coherence, digital logic design, and how I’d approach Verilog and VHDL. Static timing analysis came up as well, along with questions tied directly
