My process started with a phone call interview that lasted about half an hour, and it leaned heavily on technical questions tied to the responsibilities of the job.

After that call, I went onsite for the next stage.

On-site, I met the lab team and had discussions about the projects and what support they’d need from whoever got hired. They also asked me some more questions, and the expectations for the role were clearly explained to me.

The overall difficulty felt average mainly because the phone screen wasn’t just casual—it required technical readiness. I left feeling like the onsite portion was where they really tried to map my background to how the lab actually worked day to day.
