Tesla Software Engineer interview experience

Fremont, CACandidate report, summarized by Dataford

I made it through an onsite interview, and afterward I expected the usual next step.

Instead, the silence stretched on.

I hadn’t heard back from the recruiter, and that lack of follow-up made the whole experience feel unresolved. Since there was no offer involved and I was left waiting, the biggest thing I remember is the uncertainty after putting in the onsite effort.

By the time I stopped feeling “in process” and started feeling stalled, my reflection was that Tesla’s timeline can be hard to read once you’ve already done the onsite.
