Palo Alto, CAPosted Sep 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My process ended up spanning seven rounds, and it mixed system design discussions with live coding.

The recruiter was surprisingly open about what to expect and shared details about the path through the loop.

The first round was with a senior engineer, and it focused on implementing machine-learning–related topics rather than something purely theoretical. Even though I felt like the format was clear, the bar was genuinely high and the work required real execution, not just explanation. I wasn’t selected after that process.
