Palo Alto, CAPosted Sep 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I applied online and got contacted by a recruiter within about a week.

The first step was a phone screen, and it went straight into practical areas of my background: CAD skills like CATIA V5, Siemens NX, and SolidWorks.

They asked about specific projects where I’d used GD&T, tolerance stack-ups, and DFM/DFA thinking. The conversation also covered whether I’d worked with FEA tools such as ANSYS or Abaqus and how I collaborate across functions. It felt like they were checking for real depth in mechanical engineering work, not just buzzwords.
