Palo Alto, CAPosted Aug 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My process involved multiple rounds and included both online rounds and then a larger virtual onsite phase with many one-by-one discussions—two online rounds followed by six virtual-onsite rounds.

I remember preparing by focusing on DSA, but the actual technical content leaned heavily into robotics.

The interviewers covered classical robotics topics ranging from transformation concepts through SLAM and path planning. I was also asked to code multi-robot functionality and got deep dives that mixed robotics with machine learning concepts, plus some dynamic programming questions. Overall it felt challenging in a broad way—there was a lot to cover, and it wasn’t just one narrow coding test.
