I received a call from the recruiting team and scheduled a first technical interview round.

The interviewer was friendly, but it felt oddly like they weren’t really listening to my answers—like I was speaking and the discussion didn’t fully land.

The question focus was mainly C programming, and although the schedule suggested the session would last an hour, it ended around forty-five minutes. That mismatch made it feel more like I was being evaluated quickly rather than having time for a deeper, iterative conversation.

I didn’t end up with an offer, and the shortened timing plus the lack of engagement in the answers left me feeling unsettled about how the evaluation was going.
