San Diego, CAPosted Aug 2015 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

Because I’d already interned there, my interview loop was shaped around what the team knew about me and what they expected from the next step.

I wasn’t asked to go onsite, and I ended up doing four rounds, all by phone.

The questions stayed fairly fundamental: I had basic algorithm questions, and I also got asked about distributed systems and data mining. It felt less like a mystery-box assessment and more like checking whether I could extend the skills from my internship into broader topics.

I didn’t receive an offer, but the process itself was relatively easy to navigate since I already had context with the team and the questions were in line with the role’s technical scope.
