Tencent Software Engineer interview experience

Once that was done, I went into two rounds of online interviews. Both rounds were fairly direct: they included coding challenges as well as regular Q&A, with questions that pushed me to explain my reasoning rather than just produce an answer.

What surprised me was how concise it all felt—there weren’t any later follow-ups listed after the two online rounds. The process ended quickly, and by the time I finished those interviews, it felt like there wasn’t a long runway of extra stages. Overall, it was an average-difficulty loop that leaned more on live problem work than on extended discussion.
