My first real step was a qualification test that required a lot more preparation than I expected.

Before they even discussed basic logistics, I had to spend serious time going through guidelines—well over a hundred pages—and then follow those rules during an exam that felt both difficult and, in spots, ambiguous.

The process also dragged in ways that made it stressful even before results. I had a fixed timeline to work within, and I ran into a situation where attempts and eligibility didn’t behave the way I thought they would. When I contacted support, I was told nothing could be done to fix my access, even though the situation felt like it was on their side rather than mine.
